Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

The People Patch Foundation (“People Patch,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Atlanta, Georgia. This policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only — our Photo Patch mobile app is governed separately.

Information you give us

We only collect what you choose to send us:

  • Newsletter signups — your email address, so we can send you updates you asked for.
  • Contact form — the name, email, and message you submit so we can reply.
  • Donations — your name, email, and gift details. Payments are processed by Donorbox and its payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit — to keep the site secure and running. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run the site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Donorbox — donation forms and payment processing.
  • JotForm — our contact form.
  • Kit — newsletter delivery.
  • Vercel — website hosting.

Our donation and contact forms are embedded from Donorbox and JotForm and may set their own cookies in order to function.

How we use your information

  • To send the newsletter and updates you request.
  • To respond to your messages and requests.
  • To process, acknowledge, and keep records of donations.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website, and to comply with the law.

How we share it

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above so they can perform their function, or when required by law.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request that we correct or delete it, email info@photopatch.org.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has provided us information here, contact info@photopatch.org and we will delete it.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle, and we rely on established providers for payments and forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
