Technology that heals.
We are a group of passionate people driven by a shared goal: to create meaningful change through technology. From app developers to community organizers to people with lived experience of the systems we work to change, our team brings deep expertise and a deeper commitment to serving others.
To lift marginalized and at-risk people out of poverty, instability, and inter-generational incarceration through compassionate support and HolisTech interventions — technology aimed at the whole person, not one symptom.
A world where technology is a force for good — reuniting families, strengthening communities, and giving every person the tools to thrive.
A nonprofit built for real human needs.
The People Patch Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit uplifting marginalized communities through innovative programs and technology. Founded on compassion and empowerment, we built the Photo Patch app to help children stay connected with an incarcerated parent — and today, through Learning Inside, we reach 97,597 learners with digital-literacy courses on Edovo tablets in 1,545 facilities across all 50 states.
It started with a simple idea: technology can heal.
Our journey began with the Photo Patch app, built to make it easy for kids to send letters and photos to a parent in prison. As we saw what technology could do for the people the system leaves behind, our mission grew.
Today we don't just reconnect families — we equip whole communities. Through Learning Inside, we teach coding, AI, and financial literacy to tens of thousands of learners preparing to come home. Through Mobile Showers, we bring hot water and dignity to unhoused neighbors on Atlanta's West Side every Saturday. Through Photo Patch, we keep families connected across the wall.
Every program works the same way — HolisTechly, treating the whole person, not one symptom.
